GENDER EQUALITY PLAN

Published on the Ilion Water Technologies website · Approved by the CEO
Effective date: September 2026 · Next review: September 2027

Ilion Water Technologies is a deep-tech company developing pressure-free reverse-osmosis technology for sustainable water desalination and treatment. We are committed to building an inclusive, fair and high-performing organisation in which every person has equal opportunities regardless of gender. This Gender Equality Plan sets out our commitments and the concrete measures we implement to promote gender equality at all levels of the company.

1 - Publication and Governance

This Gender Equality Plan is a formal, public document, approved by the CEO and published on the Ilion Water Technologies website. It is reviewed at least once a year and updated as the company grows. Overall responsibility for implementation lies with the CEO, acting as designated GEP Coordinator, with the support of the management team.

2 - Dedicated Resources
  • The CEO acts as Gender Equality Coordinator, with the support of the management team.
  • Time and budget are allocated each year to the actions described in this plan.
  • Where useful, external experts in gender equality may be engaged to support training and implementation.
3 - Data Collection and Monitoring

As the company grows, Ilion Water Technologies collects sex-disaggregated data on an annual basis across all roles and levels. Key indicators include:

  • Gender breakdown by team, role and seniority level.
  • Gender pay gap for equivalent roles.
  • Recruitment, shortlisting and promotion rates by gender.
  • Participation in training by gender.

These indicators are compiled into a short annual review used to track progress and guide the following year's actions.

4 - Training and Awareness

All staff are offered awareness-raising on gender equality principles, unconscious bias and inclusive workplace practices. Managers and anyone involved in hiring receive additional guidance on gender-inclusive recruitment and leadership.

5 - Core Focus Areas and Measures
